    Friday is National Wear Red Day

    Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for women, and National Wear Red Day is designed to raise awareness by highlighting the importance of education, prevention, and early detection.     First robotic kidney transplant in the Southeast

    On Jan. 15, UAB Hospital became the first in the region to perform a robotic-assisted kidney transplant. Thanks to smaller incisions and higher precision, this minimally invasive technique typically results in less pain, a lower risk of complications, and faster recovery.
