    Fight hunger this season by donating to the food drive

    UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham and East are partnering with the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama to fight hunger in our community during the holidays. Through Dec. 8, employees can donate non-perishable food items in collection boxes located in each hospital’s cafeteria, or you can make a financial contribution online.

    Additional time off for the holidays

    To support employee well-being and work-life balance, two additional holidays have been added this season: Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, and Friday, Jan. 2, 2026. Those extra hours have already been added in Kronos for most employees, and details on scheduling your time off are available for all employee categories. Please make sure to use your extra hours before June 30.
