Betsy Pautler has been named vice president for mission, ethics, and spiritual care for UAB Hospital and UAB St. Vincent’s, effective Nov. 1. In this expanded role, she will support the alignment of the mission and values across our integrated organization, with a focus on caregiver well-being, ethical decision-making, and spiritual care. She brings more than 25 years of experience in strengthening cultures rooted in compassion, integrity, and respect.
